I’d move on, if I were you.

I’m a series of tubes!
How many holes does he have?
I was ahead with reading during Dutch class.
We often had classical reading exercises where one student is tasked to read a text and at some point another student would be pointed at to take over. I was a pretty fast reader at the time and class was soooooo slow, and I figured I wouldn’t be called upon, because I had to do it the week before already, so I was ahead quite a bit in the text and there was 1 sentence that got repeated in the text.
You can guess the rest, I get called upon, my neighbour whispers the first few words of that one repeated sentence and I start reading from the wrong instance that sentence appeared. The entire class confused.
Got me detention that day.
No, just crazy. :)
I was giving you a textual hug, if you didn’t know what {{{ }}} means.
I hope they come back :)

Makes sense for comments, but for posts to for instance this Sub-lemmy, I mean community?
Do you perhaps fear failure? That you might do it incorrectly?
That’s a bit what’s stopping me often from starting something new.
I agree. It’s annoying and selfish. I often go back to older threads I’ve participated in to see other people’s points of view, to see if maybe I missed something. But to then see “permanently deleted” or words of that effect, that’s just sad. I can’t learn from those. No one can.
I did read everything in your thread before I commented. I still say, move on. Let it go.
The letter writing suggestion isn’t a bad one, but I wouldn’t send it. Just write it and then burn it, and let that act of fire be the end of it. I know it’s not easy, but it’s the best answer you’re going to get.
