People around here don’t like to promote software the doesn’t meet the OSI definition of FOSS
The vanilla apps are constantly making bloat connections. (Atleast 8k-10k on adguard app per day)
Those connections are not being made. AdGuard is blocking them and then logging them for your review. That’s it’s job.
The best way to prevent them from even trying to make these connections is to use a 3rd party app. But both companies try to stop you from doing that because they profit off of those connections.
So you used to hang out with your friends

I called the local HVAC company and they had an AI rep. The thing literally couldn’t even schedule an appointment and I couldn’t get it to transfer me to a human. I called someone else. They never even called me back so they probably don’t even know they lost my business.
You realized I said “replaced”?

…well that’s an interesting (bad) presumption.
Ah yes, the classic “everyone who disagrees with me is a troll”
So you made it up.
Android Auto is just a projection of the information on your phone so, as far as I know, it’s as private as your phone is.
Of course there’s always the possibility that the vehicle itself is doing a screen capture and processing the information on the display to send back to their servers but…seems unlikely on account of the processing power required for that.
Where did you find that information?
Oh, he is a threat to all types of sovereignty, in every sense.
I’m not a big fan of most RSS readers. And def not for Reddit content.
I replaced RIF with Stealth. It’s actually a really excellent read-only client that you can subscribe to subs and view content without contributing anything to Reddit.
RIF was arguably the best Reddit mobile app.
Jokes on them, I already watch videos at 0.5x
