Both are bad, take your pick.

There at people on Reddit right now defending this decision as if it isn’t a huge red flag.
I can’t wait for social media to burn.
And fuck you for giving such a pretentious answer to a genuine question.
Feel free, you’re more than welcome to.
Did you go to the protests?
Edit: I’ll take the downvote as a no. So I’ll leave you with this: keep your doomer bullshit to yourself, shut the fuck up, and get out of the way.
This is a joke, right?
Imagine making a mistake, it couldn’t be this guy — this guy only takes W’s and can perfectly control his body. Down to his fucking heart rate like Hannibal, wow — us lowly mortals will never compare to the guy with volume sliders on his muscles.
I should not have, I’m sorry.
So you’ve never used your hands to do anything before, got it.
Are you AI? This is a level of not understanding human strength that seems very ‘I am not human’.
Have you simply never used your hands to do anything before? Or maybe you were born without hands?
I’m just wondering how a human reaches adulthood without understanding what will happen when you nunchuk a seagull into a wall.
Yeah you realized how fucking dumb your comment was, huh?
Edit: I realize how dumb my comment is. Leaving it up for shame.
Huh, I’m amazed - I wasn’t exposed to any of that. I’d only seen the memes about it afterwards.
What happened with Snakes on a Plane? I’m only aware of the movie.
As always, trust but verify. I was telling people here for months that Kamala hadn’t won yet and everybody needed to get out and spread the word on Project 2025.
We saw what happened, and we see a lot of opinions here on Lemmy. Trust but verify.
The answer is that it’s complicated, and the British made decisions that needlessly complicated things further.
Just so we’re clear, the Irish did too — there were many different bad actors that took advantage of what happened in Ireland. It just so happens that the worst of them were British.
Are you talking about Kei trucks? Are you seriously hinging your entire argument on legislation preventing vehicles that are less than 25 years old from being imported?
Or are you talking about the chicken tax and CAFE standards? Because, guess what, the cheapest price I found for a brand new GMC truck is 47 grand. Cheapest price I’m seeing for a brand new Toyota Tacoma is 31k. Top tier models come out to about 50k.
And even they’re still too big, but none of that matters to you because you need a truck for truckin around doin’ truck stuff!
Edit: shit, I can find a used tacoma from 2005 that would be a better price and size than your average brand new monster truck. Anyone trying to tell me that I’m rejecting reality in a used truck market like this tells me they’ve got skin in the game.
Fuck the reality people like you create.
And I guess none of these employees are women in your perfect world?
I really don’t know, truth be told I don’t really look at any corporation as the individuals that make it up. They’re all a part of the same monster, and that does skew my understanding of certain dynamics.
I don’t really know if I agree with the idea that men are trapped into buying bigger and bigger trucks. Truth be told, all I know is my experience on the road - the guys driving the biggest trucks end up being the most aggressive assholes. Make of that what you will.
Yes, do you know what makes them relevant in their industry? Recognizing they aren’t a monolith and making decisions based off of data that their employees process.
I have a sneaking suspicion you’re in the wrong post dude
