I broke down and googled it and it’s a reusable menstrual cup, so I think my guess was the closest.
Depends on how far you throw it.
Like a Frisbee?
I went through the exact same situation with my 20 year old music collection and MusicBrainz Picard and unfortunately this is just the state of music piracy even now as things are rarely tagged correctly or come from compilation albums, sample albums, or are just obscure and don’t have the proper tags available on the service. This is why I don’t mind paying for music streaming even though I selfhost most other media formats because you can put in days of work tagging songs and still have a jumbled mess at the end (Picard’s tagging template is also a huge PITA to use with some obscure legacy language).
there’s a psychological war going on and this is exactly how the war is played out
This is literally the tag line for InfoWars, except their followers don’t realize Alex Jones is openly admitting that he’s manipulating them with this statement in a fight against some make believe boogeyman.
Probably not much of a difference. These mini PCs can run at single digit wattage too and you won’t be buying new SD cards every 6 months.
The market is about to be flooded with them with Windows 10 going EoL in October.
I bet you could instead use an ESP32 for GPIO and just connect it remotely to whatever Pi alternative you use (if needed at all). Turning some switches on and off while monitoring input values doesn’t sound very computationally intensive.
I think this really depends on the model they’re eyeballing because the Pi5 is frankly ridiculous for the price and has absurd power requirements (5V5A USB?). I wouldn’t recommend one of these unless you have a specific need like a certain hat or the GPIO pins. You can get a Dell micro Optiplex for less money and have a full fledged i5 or i7 processor with similar power usage.
Plus the RPi Foundation exposed themselves as the greedy bastards they are during COVID which is yet another reason to turn your back on them.
For something like a Pi Zero, maybe go for it, but there are similar devices out there from other companies too.
I think Gene Hackman gave up acting because of the dementia. He acted til he was nearly 75 years old.
Even as far back as Fire Marshall Bill?
He announced this on the day of his birthday military parade? That doesn’t seem well timed.
Does anyone know what this means for covid and flu shots in the fall since these groups are the ones who determine which strains to target with the shot each year? Will we just not have flu shots anymore or are they just going to be worthless?
I wonder if he has CTE since his behavior has been on a sharp decline over the last several years.
Good luck. The government has pretty consistently ruled that the government is immune from liability in situations like this.
You can buy protective shields for grinding and what not for pretty cheap at places like Harbor Freight. I’m sure they’d hold up to rubber bullets just fine.
Objectively true and aligns with Newsom and other’s critiques of why the LA situation is bad in the first place
Objectively false as demonstrated by all the unreported crimes against marginalized individuals in places where state and local law enforcement report detainees to ICE. Would you report a rape or assault against you if you knew police would lock you up and send you to a gulag in El Salvador because you don’t have the proper paperwork? Would you come forward as a witness to a crime under the same circumstances? Most people don’t which is the entire reason why “sanctuary cities” exist.
You can’t just cherry pick shit you dislike
What exactly did I cherry pick here? I quoted you directly with zero edits.
this statement was part of a compound resolution EXCLUSIVELY about the Boulder terrorist attack, in which DHS and ICE were positive forces. That’s what all the “whereas” means, it means “in the context of”… stop intentionally misinterpreting things to be mad about it.
The “whereas” is just outlining what happened and giving a pretext for this dystopian purity test. The resolution is absolutely not exclusively about what happened in Boulder as it references federal authorities and the nation as a whole. In what way are DHS and ICE retroactively “positive forces” in an attack that had already occurred with a suspect that is already in custody? This is nonsense.
nothing to do with LA situation.

affirms that free and open communication between State and local law enforcement and their Federal counterparts remains the bedrock of public safety and is necessary in preventing terrorist attacks; and

expresses gratitude to law enforcement officers, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel, for protecting the homeland.
Is the “homeland” for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement restricted to Colorado only? I’m at a loss for how you can claim this is only about a specific incident in Colorado. This resolution states that state and local law enforcement sharing information with ICE is “the bedrock for public safety” and 75 House Dems agreed with that.
I have a hard time putting faith in their promise that it won’t affect anyone poorly. They’re just handwaving criticism away with statements that make this AI seem like magic with zero explanation of actual details.
