    No it doesn’t, it just proves that you don’t know what a representative democracy is. The electrical college is bullshit, but it’s still somewhat democratic

      Take your “somewhat” to someone who cares. The electoral college is a piece of biased shit and it can burn in hell.

      The person you’re sneering at doesn’t care that technically you can slap a word in front of democracy and not be lying. The people don’t choose the president, a convoluted system designed to be manipulated over time does.

        The point is that direct democracy is just one form of democracy and not having the people directly vote for President doesn’t make us undemocratic (so much other shit does that).

          Some people have the opinion that if you put in place a system that disempowers voters in some states more than others, this should not be considered a democracy. I agree with that opinion. It can easily be argued, but it sounds like you’ve made your mind up.
