An open source, self-hostable music platform will soon allow people on the Fediverse to buy music and support artists. Here’s why it’s a big deal.
I’m hopeful for this! I’d be happy to pay for music if the price is reasonable and I know it’s going to the artists and not some dumb record label.
There’s no way an open source market platform would work. But if it does, then I’ll be amazed.
