Great anime, and I really don’t like anime.
Yeah, same. I liked cowboy bebop, one punch man, and delicious in dungeon. I haven’t even been able to get through a full season of anything else (though I’m game to try others).
The original 97 Berserk anime (though the first episode is very weak), Ghost in the Shell: Stand-Alone Complex, Black Lagoon (though it has definite… weak arcs which get too animesque), Girls Last Tour, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Space Dandy, and Pop-Team Epic, (roughly sorted from most serious to least) are all excellent series.
Ghost in the Shell, Jin-Roh, Perfect Blue, and Princess Mononoke (really, anything by Miyazaki) are all fantastic anime movies.
I can add, as guilty or semi-guilty pleasures, Canaan and Tsukikage Ran.
Oh, I forgot that anime wasn’t just for series and didn’t think about Miyazaki, but I’ve seen a bunch of those movies and loved them all.

Me and my friends are picky about anime, but they all swear by it. I haven’t gotten around to it myself, but it seems like it’s quality.
Can confirm! It’s probably the only one I can remember that doesn’t have any of the creepy tropes. It has some horror that could be unsettling, but mostly it’s goofy and full of whimsy, like if you got lost in the woods and ran into the Gordon Ramsey of cave dwelling
